Wondering If Your Sleep Troubles Are Serious?

I created this quiz to help you understand the difference between poor sleep and insomnia. Take 1 minute to complete the quiz. When your finished you’ll get a personalized opinion about which category your sleep troubles fall into – insomnia or just poor sleep.

What Did the Quiz Tell You?

If the quiz told you that you may have good old-fashioned poor sleep, then either you don’t have insomnia symptoms or the insomnia symptoms you have aren’t causing you trouble with quality of life or performance during the day. That last part is the key. If you have trouble sleeping but you feel and function fine during the day then it’s technically not insomnia.

On the other hand, if the quiz told you that you may have insomnia, it means you are having trouble with getting to sleep or staying asleep that is having a negative effect on your performance or quality of life. Insomnia is connected to a variety of health problems and should be taken seriously.

Fortunately, several effective treatments exist and I encourage you to speak with your healthcare provider about treatments that might be appropriate for you. We also offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to help understand your sleep problem and learn about your treatment options. If you would like to set up a free consultation, simply fill out the form at the bottom of the page or give us a call.

How Does Your Sleep Pattern Compare to Others?

When struggling with something like insomnia, it can be nice to see that you’re not alone. More and more people are taking the quiz every day and you may be surprised by how many have experiences like your own.
