Speaker: Rachel J., Insomnia Clinic Patient
Describe your sleep problem before coming to The Insomnia Clinic.
Rachel J.: Before coming to The Insomnia Clinic I was taking medication to help me sleep and it worked for a little while. But eventually I would still wake up during the night and I wouldn’t feel as rested during the day. So I talked to my primary care physician and I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Glidewell.
Describe your experience trying to fix your sleep problem before coming to the clinic.
Rachel J.: Some of the ways I tried to fix my sleep problem was to try a few different kinds of medications to help me sleep.
Take us to the moment you realized our program was working for you.
Rachel J.: The moment I realized this program was working for me was when I went to sleep without taking any medications. I was able to fall asleep fairly easily, and I stayed asleep almost the whole night, maybe woke up like once or twice. When I woke up I felt very rested and energized and just ready to go for the next day. And ever since that moment, my sleep has just been great every night.
Tell us what life looks like now that you’re sleeping and feeling better.
Rachel J.: My life now just feels great. I have more energy during the day. I’m not as sleepy. I’m able to concentrate better while I’m at work and those are the different things that I have been noticing.
